We started Akara with the mission to improve public health through innovative use of robotics and AI.
Established in 2019, Akara is the culmination of profound experience in robotics and artificial intelligence. Our journey began in Trinity College Dublin, one of the worlds oldest Universities, where our founders earned PhD and Masters degrees. Our talented team acquired a diverse range of commercial experience working at companies including NASA and Etsy before returning to commercialise emerging technology at Trinity.
Over the past decade, our founding team have collaborated seamlessly to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in healthcare robotics - an impact recognised by TIME Magazine, Forbes and Nature, to name a few.
Akara is charting the course towards a smarter future in public health through cutting edge automation. Join us on this trailblazing journey towards a more efficient and equitable global health system.
