Akara is accepted into DigitalHealth.London Accelerator

We are proud to announce that Akara have been selected to participate in the 2023/24 DigitalHealth.London accelerator. The program, supported by the UK government, aims to accelerate the integration of cutting edge technology within the NHS in London to address the pressures the health service is currently facing. Akara is one of 17 promising health startups chosen to participate in the seventh cohort of the program, with the accelerator having successfully supported 143 healthcare startups previously.

The program is partnered with some of the UK’s most innovative hospital trusts. CW+, the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (CWFT), is a delivery partner of the accelerator. The Trust is at the forefront of digital health innovation in the UK, piloting new technologies and empowering staff to embrace emerging technologies.
